"Real Raps" is the latest offering from Rap Artiste, PunStar; born April 30 1991.

PunStar is a multi talented and prolific rapper who hails from Ughelli, Delta and reps Warri but grew up in Bariga. PunStar studied Mass Communication and uses rap as a tool to get his message across to the masses. He has many unreleased works and aims to take the industry by storm!

Gossip & Gists: Monarch Burnt To Death After Arsonists Set Palace Ablaze

The 80 year old monarch of Ilase-Ijesa community in Obokun local government area of Osun State was killed in a fire on Wednesday night November 20th after hoodlums set his palace on fire. 

The Alase of Ilase-Ijesa, Oba Adesina Anibijuwon, was burnt to death inside his palace around 08:00PM Wednesday though there are reports that he was strangled before his home was set on fire.
 
Residents of the community claim the late Oba, who had been blind for nine years, was attacked by suspected members of Odua People’s Congress who invaded the palace that night in a Mazda 323 car which they later set ablaze.
 
The charred remains of the late Oba Anibijuwon was taken to the mortuary at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital in Osogbo. The police is investigating his death.

Gossip & Gists: Aero Contractor Reportedly Changes Name To Nigerian Eagle

According to new reports, Aero Contractors, partly owned by the Ibru family has changed its name to Nigerian Eagle, and will most likely be the official national carrier.

 

It was brought to our notice that the airline will be unveiled this Sunday as the nation's national carrier by President Goodluck Jonathan on his return from the UK.

"There will not be Aero Contractors anymore. It is now Nigerian Eagle and it will be launched on Sunday by Mr. President. You will not see Aero anymore after the launch of this airline”, sources wrote to inform us on Wednesday.

The Federal Government owns 60% stake in the airline.

Interviews & Hype: "I Dated Someone With A Negative Record, And It Affected Me" - Timaya

In a new interview with a correspondence, the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya said he dated someone who had a bad record and that affected him.

Timaya and actress Empress Njamah dated for a few years. Their much publicized affair ended in 2009.

“You should not date somebody who already has a negative record. In my own case, it affected me at that time. I feel that a relationship should be between two people and not exposed to the rest of the world. Only a smart man is able to keep his relationship private."

Jay Z is said to have bought drinks for a beauty queen amid rumours about his marriage to Beyonce. The rapper spent more than $8,000 on champagne while partying with gorgeous model Claudia Scheelen in Antwerp’s Magic nightclub last month.

Claudia, 27, told the our correspondence: “I was with my girlfriends and he sent over a drink to us – he had this huge bottle of Ace of Spades champagne, it must have been six or ten litres".

“He told me ‘I’ve been all over the entire world, but the girls in Antwerp are the prettiest girls.’”Claudia says Jay Z didn’t talk about his wife or one-year-old daughter when they met. “He didn’t mention Beyoncé or Blu once,” she added.

Gossip & Gists: Chaos On Ajah Road In Lagos As Trailer Kills Five School Children

There's serious pandemonium on Ajah Road in Lagos as you read this. Area boys and passers-by are clashing with policemen after a trailer crushed five students as they were crossing the road.

The sad incident happened close to Ikota Primary School and the dead pupils are believed to be making their way to the school when they were killed. The tanker driver abandoned his truck and escaped.
 
The people protesting are insisting they won't leave the area until Governor Fashola shows up. They are blaming the gruesome accident on the lack of a pedestrian bridge in the area. The two express lanes have been blocked by the angry protesters which has caused heavy traffic in the area. There's heavy police presence in the are.

Gossip & Gists: Jude Okoye Was Not At His Brother, Peter Okoye's Wedding

I just spoke with P-Square's publicist Bayo Adetu and he confirmed that Jude Okoye was not at Peter and Lola's wedding yesterday.

I asked why he didn't attend and he said Jude and some members of P-Square's band were stuck in Ghana after their Saturday night show. He said Peter and Paul were able to make the trip back on Sunday morning but not Jude. That's the official reason. Don't know if I believe it ...but hopefully there's good reason for Jude missing his brother's wedding.
 
And like I said yesterday, Paul was at the wedding! He just didn't participate in many pic taking.
