From a female reader; I've been married to this man for just three years. We have a two year old child together. I just found out six days ago that he's wanted in the US, along with three other people for fraud and email scam.

He actually escaped from the country six years ago and has been hiding in Nigeria. He completely lied to me about what he does for a living and lied about everything in his past. He's an American citizen who can't take his family to the US on holiday.

His excuses of not wanting us to visit the US was what led me to investigate him and that's when I found out his little secret.

Or should I say big secrets. So what should I do now? I don't want to be married to an ex-convict and a liar. He lies about everything, even his name. I think my married name was made up. I'm no longer sure the people he parades as his family are really his family.

I'm not sure about anything anymore and I'm now scared of him. Please what should I do? I'm scared shitless..

Gossip & Gists: If You're In Kano, Watch What You Wear, They're Arresting People Now

According to a report by our correspondence, police who enforce Islamic law in Kano have arrested 150 people in the last week, including for indecent dress, as part of a crackdown on immorality.

"Some people in Nigeria’s second city have been picked up for sporting hair styles inspired by prominent international football players", said Mohammed Yusuf Yola, spokesman for Kano’s sharia police, or Hisbah. Others were thrown in jail and fined for wearing their trousers too low on their waists, mimicking a style that became prominent in the 1990s, partly through the influence of some American hip hop artists. The arrests have followed an order by Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to cleanse the city of immoral practices and the trend is set to continue in the weeks ahead, said Hisbah Director-General, Abba Sufi. The Hisbah is a state police force funded by state government and is not part of the federal police. “We have arrested 150 men and women in the past week, including prostitutes and their boyfriends, transvestites, alcoholics and those engaged in indecent dressing in contravention of the sharia legal code,” Yola told our correspondence.

Religion has repeatedly been used as a political issue in Kano and the governor, seen as a moderate, has been accused by rivals of lacking commitment to sharia’s guidelines. Yola insisted the operation was launched to reverse disturbing trends in the city of some five million people and is targeting people of various faiths. “Those arrested include Muslims and non-Muslims and we treat them equally because this is about morality,” he said.
Kano, like the rest of northern Nigeria, is majority Muslim, but the city has a sizeable Christian minority.

"Some of those arrested have been released after paying fines ranging from N10,000.00 ($63, 46 euros) to N15,000.00", Yola said.

“Those who could not afford the fine are being kept in prison,” he added, but he would not specify the number of people currently being held.

At the restoration of civilian rule in 1999, 12 northern states, including Kano, formally adopted sharia, but the Islamic legal system has been unevenly applied. The Hisbah was formed in 2001, largely to enforce sharia, but the force has other duties, including some community development work and alternative dispute resolution.

The southern half of Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, is mostly Christian.

Gossip & Gists: Federal Government (PDP1) Marks PDP2's New Headquarters For Demolition

Lol. Wetin concern us... Na to just siddon dey look. So, according to new reports, the Federal Government aka old PDP has marked the official headquarters of the new PDP in Abuja for demolition.

 

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Senator Bala Mohammed, has ordered the Development Control of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, to demolish the official Secretariat of the Baraje-led new PDP situated at 4, Oyi River Crescent, off Babangida Way, Maitama in Abuja.
 

The building (pictured above) was marked for demolition on October 11 about a month and a half after the new place was locked up by heavily armed policemen.

Gossip & Gists: Chocolate City Gets A Court Injunction Against Brymo

Oh OK, now I see the reason for Brymo's tweets yesterday. He literally can't work as an artist until he sorts himself out with Choc City.

Apparently his former record label Chocolate City through their law firm, L&A Legal Consultants on Monday October 21st got an injunction against him, restraining him from recording, releasing, distributing any composition, song, musical works or carrying out any activity as a recording or performing artist through or for the benefit of any person or organisation other than Chocolate City pending the determination of the suit against him.
 
Chocolate City says "Brymo's contract remains valid until 2016".

Brymo is too talented not to work, please, y'all should sort this out!

Ace footballer Obafemi Martins has welcomed his third child from his third baby mama. Abigail Barwuah, the older sister of Italian footballer Mario Balotelli gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday October 16th in Italy.

25 year old Abigail, who has been dating Obafemi since 2012, lost the first pregnancy we all reported last year. She was about four months pregnant when she was in Nigeria with Obafemi in December 2012 but lost the baby and got pregnant again almost immediately.

The never-before-married Obafemi has a son with an African chick he dated in Italy many years ago, he also has a 3 and a half year old son with a white chick he dated while playing in the UK and now a son with Abigail. Father of all nation.

Hehe. Congrats to Abigail and Obafemi!

They came in quietly into the country a few days ago and went straight to Benin where they were hosted by Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

You will recall that while in the BBA house, Dillish used to call on Gov. Oshiomhole and other Nigerian rich men like Dangote to bless her with money and change her life.
